For those people who have no natural teeth remaining, or failing natural teeth, then it is worth considering implants with overdentures. These are still removable prosthesis but click onto the implants for retention.  

This is by far the best way to hold a denture in place and prevent them from moving around the mouth.  Most commonly people who have no teeth at all on the bottom arch find a minimum of two lower implants transforms the fit and function of the dentures.
